When the assembly touches product, the bore matters as much as the pressure rating. Specialties Company supplies ultra high purity hose assemblies for pharmaceutical, biotech, semiconductor, specialty chemical and food-grade service — fabricated to your spec and supplied with the documentation your quality group needs.
High Purity Hose Constructions
- Smooth bore PTFE hose — chemically inert, non-leaching, drains cleanly, handles a wide temperature range
- Platinum cured silicone hose — low extractables, excellent flexibility, ideal for repeat-flex and peristaltic service
- Convoluted PTFE where tight bend radius is required
- Braided and reinforced silicone for pressure and full-vacuum service
- High purity tubing and single-use assemblies for disposable process trains
Sanitary End Connections
Tri-Clamp is the default, and we build to standard sanitary sizes with the gasket material your process calls for. We also fabricate to hygienic threaded connections, sanitary flanges and custom end configurations. Wetted components are specified so there are no dead legs, crevices or entrapment areas where product can sit.
Documentation and Traceability
Tell us what your QA group requires and we will quote it into the assembly. Commonly requested items include:
- USP Class VI compliance documentation
- FDA 21 CFR 177 material compliance
- Material certificates and lot traceability
- Certificates of conformance
- Hydrostatic and pressure test records
- ADCF (animal-derived component free) statements
Typical Applications
Clean-in-place and steam-in-place circuits, buffer and media transfer, WFI and purified water lines, filling and dispensing, chromatography skids, high-purity solvent and acid delivery in semiconductor fabs, and product transfer in food, beverage and cosmetics manufacturing.
Cleaning, Packaging and Handling
High purity assemblies can be supplied cleaned, capped and double-bagged for cleanroom entry. Specify the cleaning protocol and packaging level you need and we will quote to it rather than shipping a standard industrial assembly into a controlled space.
