Chlorine hose is not a catalog commodity — the correct construction depends on your service conditions and the standard your facility works to. Many operators specify to Chlorine Institute Pamphlet 6. Tell us which standard governs your application and we will quote a build that meets it, including the required testing and certification package. Material Compatibility Matters
Dry chlorine and wet chlorine behave very differently against the same metal. Trace moisture turns chlorine aggressively corrosive to alloys that handle the dry gas without issue, which is why Monel shows up so often in chlorine service fittings and metal hose. Give us your actual moisture content, temperature and pressure and we will spec the wetted materials against them rather than against a generic chart.
Testing and Documentation
Assemblies are hydrostatically tested and tagged before shipment. Material test reports, test certificates and traceability documentation are available on request — tell us what your QA group needs and we will include it in the quote.
Service Life and Replacement
Chlorine transfer hose is a scheduled-replacement item at most facilities, not a run-to-failure one. Follow your site's inspection and retirement interval and your chlorine supplier's guidance. We can quote standing replacement sets so the assemblies are on the shelf before the interval comes due.
