Most of what leaves our shop is not a catalog item. Specialties Company builds custom hose assemblies to print, to sample, or to a photo of the one that failed — hydrostatically tested and tagged before it ships from our 30,000 sq ft facility in Freeport, Texas.
High Pressure Hose Assemblies
We fabricate high pressure hose assemblies across the range plants actually run: routine hydraulic circuits, 4000 PSI hose for heavy equipment and press lines, and 6000 PSI hose for hydrostatic testing, jetting and tool service. Working pressure, not burst pressure, drives the spec — tell us the operating condition and the safety factor you design to and we will build to it.
Constructions We Fabricate
- Wire-braid and spiral-wire hydraulic hose, single through six spiral
- PTFE and Teflon lined hose with stainless braid for chemical and high-temperature service
- Corrugated metal hose in stainless and corrosion-resistant alloys
- Chemical, petroleum, steam, air and water transfer hose
- Composite hose for dock and transfer service
- Suction and discharge assemblies with built-in vacuum rating
End Connections
JIC 37°, NPT, SAE, BSPP, Code 61 and Code 62 flanges, ANSI 150# and 300# flanges, medium-pressure cone-and-thread, camlock, dry-disconnect couplers, ground joint and sanitary connections. Materials in carbon steel, 316 stainless, brass, Monel and Hastelloy.
Custom Hose Fabrication to Your Print
Send a drawing and we will quote from it. No drawing? Send a photo of the failed assembly with a tape measure in the frame, or ship us the old one. We reverse-engineer replacements routinely — including obsolete assemblies where the original manufacturer no longer supports the part.
Testing, Tagging and Documentation
Assemblies are hydrostatically tested in-house and tagged so your maintenance group can trace them later. Test certificates, material test reports and certificates of conformance are available — tell us what your QA or turnaround package requires and we will quote it in.
Turnarounds and Standing Stock
If you are planning a turnaround or outage, send the assembly list ahead of time. We can quote the full package, stage it, and hold standing replacement sets so the parts are on your shelf before the crew needs them.
What to Send With Your Quote Request
- Working pressure and safety factor
- Hose ID and overall length
- End connections and clocking on both ends
- Media, temperature and any vacuum requirement
- Quantity and required documentation
